Towne Park Online Privacy Policy

Thank you for visiting Park Annapolis, Towne Park’s branded parking system for the City of Annapolis. We have a web site located at www.parkannapolis.com. Towne Park believes that you have the right to know what information is being collected about you when you visit our site, and what is done with that information. The terms of this policy will govern the use of any information collected while the policy is in place. This policy applies only to the online collection of information - different policies and practices may exist with regards to the offline collection of information by Towne Park. Additionally, this privacy policy only applies to the Park Annapolis branded Towne Park site. Sites which are linked to or from this site may have different privacy policies. Towne Park is not responsible for the privacy policies, or lack thereof, of sites accessed through links from our sites. Please review the privacy notices on such sites for details. We reserve the right to change this privacy policy and encourage you to revisit this page. Should Towne Park change its privacy policy, we will post such changes at this page.

Information We Collect

Towne Park collects two types of information about you when you visit our sites: personal information (including, by way of example only, your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address and information necessary for your parking account such as your license plate number and credit card or checking account information, if applicable) and non-personal, aggregate information (such as information regarding the pages on our sites that you have visited and your IP address).

1. Personally Identifiable Information

The only personally identifying information that we collect and store about you is the information that you choose to provide to us. For example, if you request information about Towne Park services or if you send us an e-mail, we will have to collect personal information necessary to respond to your request, such as your name, address, telephone number and/or e-mail address. If you wish to have an online account with Towne Park, or wish to become a member of or subscriber to Towne Park services via our web site, we may require your e-mail address to correspond with you regarding your account, license plate number for validation purposes, credit card or checking account information for payment purposes, and other information as may be required from time to time to set up and maintain an account for you with Towne Park.

Towne Park may also offer online registration for certain other services. If you wish to register on the Towne Park web site or use any of Towne Park Online's services, you will be required to submit certain personal information. We will use your e-mail address to e-mail you correspondence regarding your account. We may from time to time also offer surveys or promotions on our web site. To participate in these surveys or promotions, personal information may be required. However, participation is strictly voluntary. If you do not wish for us to e-mail you, please do not sign up for our parking services.

2. Non-Personally Identifiable Information

We collect and use non-personally identifiable information about you in the following ways:

Cookies

3. Sharing Your Information With Third Parties Disclosure of Information by Towne Park

We share your personal information with third parties necessary for assisting us with conducting our business including our Internet web site hosting company; our credit card and check processing companies; and third parties that assist with our parking services. These parties only use the information they obtain from our web sites for the purpose of providing services to Towne Park. In the unlikely event that one of the garages for which we provide services chooses another parking vendor, we may be required to transfer your personal information to the garage owner and/or the new vendor so that the vendor can continue to offer your parking services. Further, Towne Park reserves the right to disclose your personal and non-personal information if Towne Park reasonably believes it is required to do so by law, to protect itself or to protect the rights of another user; to reduce risk of credit or other kind of fraud; or to comply with a court order.

If you do not wish for Towne Park to share your information with the third parties noted above, please do not submit your personal information to Towne Park.

You may elect to not have your information shared. However, if you do not want for us to share your information with the parties mentioned above, please do not submit your personal information to the Towne Park web site.

SPECIAL POLICY REGARDING INFORMATION FROM CHILDREN UNDER THIRTEEN
Towne Park is a general audience web site and is not targeted to children. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from any child under the age of 13. If it comes to our attention that we have collected such information, we delete it as soon as we discover it.

INSOLVENCY
In the unlikely event that Towne Park ever becomes insolvent and seeks protection under the Bankruptcy laws, Towne Park may share or sell your personal information and non-personal information with a third party that intends to continue the business.
